Hows it going!? This is Duncan Lee, Im 48 years old, grew up in Lake Tahoe, and have been playing in the backcountry for about 32 years. It all started with big mountain snowboarding. But once I got my own backcountry snowmobile back in the year 2000 it quickly changed. Now I have been a professional backcountry snowmobile athlete for 16 plus years! I also love Moto, downhill mountain biking, days on the lake, and adventuring with my wife and son.

In 2008, along with 3 other friends/riders, Ken Evans, Grant Korgan, and Randy Sugihara, we founded Alpine Assassins, a pro rider’s collective, that produces a leading snowmobile film each year. This was what opened the door to truly living the snowmobile lifestyle. Over the years I have found a way of life in the snowmobile community. But no matter what I am a committed rider to the sport first!

In 2013 I opened Lets Ride Adventures  in hopes to share my passion with the rest of the world. I started my own video series about the where, when, how and with who I got to ride with. The Lets Ride Video series is still going, and a fun outlet for me. I have over 30 episodes to date and look forward to more every year. Lets Ride Adventures offers Avalanche Education, skills clinics and guiding in the Sierra Nevada.  Over the past 11 seasons I have been working on my own education, as well as spreading awareness and instructing classes for others. This has become a majority of what I do during the fall and winter. I also continue to obtain media and product test for sponsors. Which means I get to ride alot!

I sat on the Board of Directors for AIARE (American Institute of Avalanche Research & Education), for over 5 years, and helped the organization develop curriculum for avalanche courses. Between avalanche education and the Lets Ride Adventures Video Series, my winters are busy!!!

Duncan currently resides in Truckee, California and gets to ride this crazy adventure of life with his wife Melissa and his son Bridger.
